Comprehensive Dentistry
Comprehensive dentistry involves the diagnosis and treatment of general conditions affecting the teeth, gums and jaw. At Integrity Family Dentistry, we emphasize quality preventive care because it allows us to diagnose and treat problems while they’re still small.
Early diagnosis also enables Dr. Segrist to develop more conservative treatment plans and reduce your risk of needing more extensive (and often more expensive) treatment in the future. With our state-of-the-art digital technology, we can perform most procedures right here in our office. You don’t have to drive all over town to receive the dental treatment you need!

Periodontal (Gum) Care
According to the American Academy of Periodontology, gum disease is the number one cause of tooth loss in adults over the age of 35. The prevalence of gum disease increases with age because as our teeth wear down, our gums naturally recede and certain medications can affect our oral health. If your gums feel tender or look red and swollen, you may be in the beginning stage of gum disease, called gingivitis. Other warning signs include bleeding gums, pain or sensitivity in your teeth and persistent bad breath. Untreated gum disease has been linked to an increased risk of stroke, heart attack and numerous other serious health problems.
Periodontal Treatments
Gum disease used to require surgery more often than not, and while surgery is still sometimes the best option, many cases can now be treated with less invasive techniques first.
